About Steve “Boomer” Busboom

The golfer behind NotGudEnuf

Steve “Boomer” Busboom is the author and creator of You're Not Good Enough to Get Mad!!, a 200-page illustrated look at the humor, pressure, friendships, and psychology of golf.

Inspired by the advice that became the book's title, Steve turned the familiar frustrations, rivalries, wagers, and clubhouse characters of the game into 170 illustrated scenes. He developed the book with illustrator Bill Trantham and a small creative team acknowledged in its opening pages.

His NotGudEnuf approach is simple: keep the game in perspective, smile through the bad shots, and remember that none of us is good enough to get mad.
